A rare The Whisky Shop exclusive, bottled for us by Benriach, this peated 1994 vintage has spent its entire life in a single Oloroso sherry puncheon. With a yield of only 653 bottles, presented at 52.8% abv.
Expect aromas of caramelised pine nut and charred orange, with honeyed demerara sugar and refined woodsmoke. On the palate, we find flavours of silky red fruit and baked currant with spicy black bean and lingering smoked fennel.
