The pinnacle of The Dalmore's Principal Collection, this 21-year-old single malt is only available in limited annual batches. The 2023 release has benefitted from an exquisite three year finish in rare 30-year-old first-fill Matusalem Sherry casks, a result of The Dalmore's partnership with Gonzalez Byass Sherry house. Presented at 43.8% abv, in a superb collectable display case.
Expect aromas of dark chocolate, overripe Seville oranges and coffee bean, leading to rich palate of sweet liquorice, forest fruits, roasted walnuts and marzipan. On the finish, hints of ginseng, poached pear and Sanguinello blood orange shine through.
