This Japanese blend combines multiple types of malt and grain whisky that Nikka reserves and marries them in used casks for between 3 and 6 months to allow the elements to stabilise and harmonise. Bottled at 51.4% abv, this is a rich and strong blend that delivers flavour by the barrel.
Expect notes of spicy oak, orange peel and vanilla on the nose, and a palate full of more zesty orange, caramel, raspberries and mixed spice flavour. The finish is a fruity one, with lingering chocolate.
